there are thousands of designs and images—beautiful, but also overwhelming. This is simply a taster, focusing on pieces that feel particularly sculptural, and others that—almost unexpectedly—echo attributes that continue into my current art practice. String, cord, and leather recur throughout the work. They connect, weave, separate, and bind—materials that hold tension as much as they create continuity. Alongside this, a preference for bold decisions and a rigorous use of colour has been a constant thread in my life and work. (Image selection 2010 – 2019).
