My interest in photography grew out of a practical need: documenting my jewellery design work. To strengthen my technical skills, I attended the Orms Cape Town School of Photography (CTSP), where that necessity quickly developed into a lasting passion for the medium.
I maintain extensive photography archives across two computers, spanning work from 2005 to the present. I am gradually revisiting and organising these images, unearthing past projects and adding them to the website as they resurface—sometimes out of sequence, but always as part of an evolving record of my practice.

Taken in 2008, during a wonderful, playful afternoon of interaction with these women. Today, I would feel too shy to make portraits of strangers like that.
